Kush joins us from FirstRand, where he served as an Executive Director and the CFO of FirstRand Short-Term Insurance Limited. Additionally, he was the Joint CFO of the FNB Insurance Pillar, overseeing all insurance-related business within the FirstRand Group. His career spans several leadership roles, including key positions at Mutual & Federal, Brolink, and EY Inc. He was also instrumental in integrating the insurance cluster into FirstRand’s retail transactional banking division. Kush’s journey into accounting began at a young age, inspired by his grandfather, who introduced him to bookkeeping. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for understanding numbers and the stories they tell.
